Synopsis

Leon Jean-Baptiste Georges, a French orientalist painter and book illustrator of the modern era. He exhibited at the Salon of French Artists in 1900 at the Salon des Independants , made ​​his first trip to Algeria in 1905 . In 1907 he exhibited at the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux- Arts in 1911 , and the Salon d’Automne. Carré settled in Algiers in 1909. He practice oil, gouache and pastel.
Franz Toussaint was a French writer and Orientalist, also a screenwriter, author of numerous translations of Arabic and Persian, Sanskrit and Japanese. His most famous translation itself adapted in several other languages​​, is that of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam.
