Sabry discusses the period from 1831 to 1841, analysing the formation of the empire and the campaign of Toussoun against the Wahhabis ( 1811-1815). A detailed discussion is given to the campaign of Ibrahim Pasha in Arabia, together with the war in Morea, and the Syrian campaign.
