Synopsis

Treatise on the art of war, written by Aly Bin Abdul Rahman Bin Hudeil Al Farrari in the mid-14th century, at a time when the Christian kings from north of Spain were gradually gaining the upper hand in the conflict with the Arabs in Spain. Translation accompanied by transcription of the original Arabic manuscript.
Part of this work, relating to Arab equitation and horsemanship, was previously translated and published by Louis Mercier, French Consul in Morocco, in 1924 under the title “Parure des Cavaliers”.
