A highly important facsimile of a seventeenth century manuscript map of Central Asia, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Mecca, and the Arab Gulf. It depict watercourses, mountain ranges, ports, cities, castles, religious sites, and caravan routes, extending from the Yemen in the South to Western Arabia, including the Holy city of Makkah, through the Strait of Hormuz, up the Gulf, the Euphrates and the Tigris via Abadan, Basrah, Baghdad, Mosul, Aleppo and Erzerum.
