Synopsis

Jean Lassus, a French archaeologist and specialist in paleochristian archeology, was director of antiquities in Algeria. was the Director of Antiquities of Algeria. In 1930 he was sent to Syria by the Institut Français de Damas where he worked with Jean Sauvaget, Henri Serig and Louis Massignon on several sites.
