A collection of 255 postcards measuring 9.5 x 14.5 cm approximately, dating back to early 1900s. The set comprises the following post cards:\n- Athens: 20 Antiquities (1 in colour, 3 in duo tone); 97 (16 in colour) of archaeological and touristic sites including few on costumes; Plus an unusual postcard with a cut-out of 7 panoramic scenes of Athens.\n- Salonica / Macedonia: 75, (12 in colour), mostly of street and everyday life scenes (1 duplicate) and costumes. Plus a booklet of 12 postcards, titled ‘Incendie de Salonique Serie 3’ [Sentiments of Salonica], b/w landscapes and panoramic views, each card with a protective tissue guard. \n- Corfu, 13 (7 in colour)\n- From other parts of Greece: 18 (8 in colour); plus 7 b/w from Ephese\n- Plus 23 miscellaneous (12 in colour), including Bulgaria, Budapest, religious among others.
