Première Partie: Vieilles Faïences Turques en Asie-Mineure et à Constantinople avec introduction et descriptions explicatives par Charles Wulzinger: 27 pages including a bibliography + 40 colour plates (of which 4 are double-page), cloth backed decorative board, cover slightly soiled and rubbed at corners, new spine / Part II: 11 pp. [1], 11 pages, chromolithograph title page and leaf of dedication, 52 loose plates numbered 1-60, of which 9 on double page, numerous figures in text, cloth-backed boards, original cover tipped-in at front and lower cover, decorative boards chromolithographed in green and gold, biblio, book plate Comte Chandron de Briailles verso front endpaper, cover slightly rubbed round edges, otherwise a beautiful set, M. Schulz, Prague, 1923-1924.

First edition of both parts, complete and not listed thus in library catalogues. Until recently auction records used to consider the first part as being lost. It illustrates numerous samples of Islamic ceramics and their different decoration, ornament and colour.
A very attractive set illustrated with finely chromolithographed selection of plates. The second part depicts Islamic architecture and architectural details drawn from numerous mosques including Konia, Brousse, Sivas, Constantinople, Yenicheir, and Iznik. It also depicts Islamic calligraphy, domes on two spread sheets, doors, windows, wood carvings, and ornaments.
