A major reference on traditional Islamic crafts in Morocco covering stone, gypsum, wood, metal, and clay. Both volumes are filled with lavish colour photos of decorative Islamic art. The books also contain geometric diagrams outlining the basic structures of the designs. Volume II contains, as an appendix, a timetable of major events in Islamic, Moroccan, and Western history.
