A catalogue of full descriptions of all the Arabic manuscripts in the Wellcome Historical Medical Library, including items of medical or scientific interest which have never been studied before. The History of Medicine of the Wellcome Library Collection reflects a broad understanding of the history of medicine and medical thought and practice from the earliest times, and in different societies and cultures around the world. It is primarily a print collection and contains materials published from 1850 to the present day.
