Account of a journey made in 1901-1902 by a Hungarian to Syria and Iraq in order to acquire Arab horses for the famous Babolna stud east of Budapest. The mission was headed by a Lebanese (the author), who describes in this work published here for the first time in Arabic the life of the Bedouins and the types of the Arabian horses found in the Syrian and Iraqi deserts.
