4 to. xxx, 287 pp. + 9 b/w illustrations of which 1 is folding, Vellum spine and sides with titling & bands gilt on the spine (the gilt), with blue-green cloth over boards, gilt Persian seal design on front cover, green silk bookmarker bound in, introduction by Brigadier-General Sir Percy Sykes, light foxing to outer edges, otherwise copy in very good condition, The Argonaut Press, London, 1927.

This edition is limited to 975 copies on Japan Vellum, numbered one to 975, of which this copy is numbered 49. The design appearing on the title-page is from an old Persian title. the volume has been printed by Walter Lewis, M. A., at the University Press, Cambridge.
