Synopsis

The Author produced two works on Islamic numismatics, which testify to his widespread interests. One on the Sassanian Coinage, the other on the Copper Coinage of Islamic India.
Valentine made his notes and drawings with such meticulous care that, when he offered them for publication, it was decided by the publisher to photograph the authors holograph work.
