Synopsis

The volume forms the second part of the author’s work on the poet Falaki-I-Shirwani and contains the complete works of this poet which have hitherto been discovered. Writing in the 10th century A. H. Taqi Kashi says that in his day Falaki’s Diwan was supposed to contain 7000 couplets: the author has only been able to find less than 1200 which he believes to be genuine. [Foreword].
