Synopsis

Emigration has always been a part of Lebanese life. Despite their passion for their country, the Lebanese have often been compelled by circumstances to set sail for other lands. This volume tells the stories of some extraordinary people, all of them different through the prism of their family origins. The authors aim is to bring hope to all young people of Lebanon, showing through these stories, that despite an often poor and remote background, the Lebanese have been able to make a name for themselves, armed only with a sense of determination and a strong work ethic.
