Synopsis

Al-Raghib al-Asfahani, was an eleventh-century Muslim scholar of Qur’anic exegesis and the Arabic language.
His work covered topics ranging from ethics to linguistics to Muslim philosophy. This work Mufradat fi Gharib al-Qur’an is considered one of his most famous works. It is a dictionary of Qur’anic terms which holds the first place among works of Arabic lexicography in regard to Qur’an.
