Synopsis

First edition of volume 1 appeared in 1968. The author mentions in his introduction in volume 1, that he had to reproduce volume 1 after discovering new material on pre-Islamic history, which was added in this second edition. Volumes 2-10 are all first editions.
Al-Mufassal fi Tarikh al-Arab Qabl al-Islam” (The Abridged History of the Arabs before Islam) is a well-known historical work by Jawad Ali, which has been one of the most referenced works on the subject.
