Volume I: 4 pp. (introduction in Latin), + 10 pp. (introduction of translators), + 892 pp., Arabic text,  / Volume II: [1, Latin text], 903 pp., Arabic text / Volume III: [1, Latin text], 597 pp., Arabic text, printed throughout in elaborate borders, contemporary cloth, title gilt on spine, title pages in black & red ink within decorated borders, covers slightly rubbed round corners with little damage at lower spine of volume 1, top edge of lower endpaper of volume one cut, otherwise set inside clean & in very good condition, The Jesuits Press, Beirut, 1925-1939.
This new translation was carried out by the Jesuits at Beirut from Hebrew and Greek and was printed by using new type obtained from Constantinople by the moderator of the Jesuits in Syria, Ambrosius Monnot.
The type used for this edition marked the beginning of a new era of fine Arabic typography.
