Synopsis

Mikha’il Na’imah (1889- 1988) was a Lebanese author famous for his spiritual writings, notably “The Book of Mirdad”. He is widely recognised as one of the most important figures in modern Arabic letters and one of the most important spiritual writers of the 20th century.
A poet, novelist and philosopher, Na’imah co-founded, along with Khalil Gibran and others, the New York literary society known as the Pen League. This is the first edition of one of his literary books “al-Marahil”.
