This poster is from the Educational Pictures Series for schools produced by the German author and Orientalist August Wünsche. It was published circa 1900. Other posters covering the Islamic world depict the pilgrimage to Mecca, produced in the same series. A copy of this poster is kept at Dortmund Westfalisches Schulmuseum.
