Synopsis

Guillaume Delisle ( 1675-1726), a leading French cartographer who published his first atlas at the age of 25, dominated French map production from 1700 until his death in 1762. He appeared as the model of serene scientific methods in the world of French cartography. This map gives the same shape of Arabia as the 1701 map with a little extra detail. Large scale.
