Synopsis

Thamas Kouli-Khan the Emperor of Persia played in important role in the history of his country. He was raised to power in 1736. This elevation only extended his views against the Mogol. He started the war against them at the head of 120 men, and with little resistance he reached Delhi in March 1738 massacring about 10,000 people. He later conducted the wars against the Uzbecks and others. In 1745, he defeated the Turks at Erivan. A conspiracy has been formed against him by the commander of his bodyguard and his own nephew. he was assassinated in 1747 and succeeded by his nephew Ali-Kouli.
