Synopsis

A major history of the Crusades Wars in the Holy Land. De Vertot 1655 – 1735, a French historian who was for some time a pupil of the Jesuits Fathers, then he entered the Capuchin order. In 1703 he was made a member of the Academie des Inscriptions Publiques. He wrote several works on the history of Portugal, and Romans. His talent as a historian is mixed with a literary style which shaped most of his works.
