Synopsis

Johann Friedrich Rohr (1777- 1848 ) was a doctor of theology, general superintendent and court preacher in Weimar. In his writings and sermons he declared Christianity to be a pure religion of reason. Röhr is considered to be one of the last representatives of theological rationalism.
