Synopsis

Al-Askari is described by many biographers as a scholar of high standing, whose circle was attended by many eminent scholars who sought to read under him. He wrote a large number of books, most of which have either been lost or exist only in the form of manuscript.
If this book tells us something, it is about the breadth of Al-Askari’s linguistic knowledge. As a scholar of the fourth century of the Islamic era, Al-Askari was encyclopaedic in his knowledge.
