It was Claude Etienne Savary who enabled the reader to express his opinion on the legislator of Arabi with wisdom (Pfannmuller). Without doubt, it was he who introduced the term “Koran” to the era of Enlightenment. Up until that period, people in general spoke of the “Alcora” only.
