Synopsis

The collection includes the following:
1- Kingdom of Iraq, 16 photographs showing various activities of King Faisal of Iraq, King Ghazi, his son King Faisal II + 5 newspaper cuttings showing images of King Faisal of Saudi Arabia.
2- Afghanistan: 10 photographs of King Nasir al-Din Shah and members of Afghanistan royal family in different activities. Plus a newspaper page showing King of Afghanistan during his visit to London
4- Kingdom of Jordan: 3 photographs of Princess Muna the British born wife of King Hussain + 2 photographs of King Hussain, of which one showing a meeting with the German Chancellor Willy Brandt.
5- Different subject: 6 photographs of the Palestinian leader Hajj Amin Hussaini + 6 photographs of King Farouk of Egypt + 2 portraits of Prince Ahmad Fuad Pasha Khedeive of Egypt + 21 loose images of North African scenes mostly architectural study + 12 photographs in a small album, covering the visit of Kaddour bin Ghabit to France on 28 May 1950 + a photograph of Patriarch Arida of Lebanon meeting Mufti of Beirut on the occasion of the end of the Second World War + a portrait of Prince Salah Eddine of Turkey + portrait of the Libyan leader Sciaref el Grian Pasha.
