The Selamet magazine, which was launched in 1947 by Mehmet Akif Ersoy’s son-in-law, Omer Rıza Dikul, was in the process of resuming the intellectual heritage of Sebilürşad and Akif. Until 1949, a total of 104 issues were published, after which the magazine was closed. The magazine, which was started to be published again in 1962, came to an end in 1979. Among the authors of the monthly magazine are important figures such as Ahmet Hamdi Akseki, Süheyl Ünver, Asım Köksal, Celal Saraç and Ahmet Himmet Berki.
