Synopsis
Born in 1953, Ziad Dalloul, lives and works in Paris. Born in Soueida, south of Syria.
His approach to cultural and artistic life began at sixteen and takes two parallel paths : that of painting and of writing. Very early, he exhibited his first paintings and recited his short stories in the cultural centre of his hometown.
1972: Settled in Damascus. He continued his studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts. Graduated in 1977. The same year he exhibited at the Gallery of Modern Art Urnina.
1980: Stay of four years in Algeria. He developed the visual arts program for the Algerian Ministry of Education .
1984: Year of his move to Paris. Subscribe to the National School of Decorative Arts, where he graduated after three years of study.
